Including People with Dementia in Activities they Enjoy
A free event for Community, Arts and Sports organisations in Bradford, Airedale and Wharfedale
Dementia needn’t stop enjoyment, involvement and the ability to contribute.
This event will give your organisation the opportunity to hear about and discuss ways of fully involving members affected by dementia, including carers. We will discuss:
- What is dementia? An insight into how people with dementia may experience their world.
- How can we help your organisation? We will provide key information about support organisations and services available to people affected by dementia from Voluntary, Social Care and Health Services.
- What can I do to help? We will discuss practical support you could offer and changes to the environment you might be able to make, and how your organisation can be supported in these ambitions.
